Softball SA is excited to announce that registrations are now open for the brand-new Pathways Classic, an exciting event for Under 16 & Under 18 athletes!

This competition marks the first step in state squad selection for the 2026 Championships, allowing squads to begin training earlier and benefit from broader, in-depth development before final teams are chosen later in the year.

Why Register?

Pathway to Nationals – A larger training squad will be selected from this event, giving players more time to develop before final team selection.

Compulsory for State Team Nominees – All U16 & U18 players wishing to represent SA at Nationals must participate. If you cannot attend, you must register and apply for an exemption through the State Teams Committee at stateteams@softballsa.com.au before the event. (Valid exemptions: pre-booked vacations, medical reasons, work commitments – as per State Teams Policy.)

Open to All Players – Even if you’re not aiming for a state team, this is a fantastic opportunity to compete at a high level and challenge yourself in a competitive junior softball environment.

Under 16 – April 5-6 @ Ridley Reserve (hosted by CDSA) 📅 Eligibility: Players born 1 Jan 2010 – 31 Dec 2014

Under 18 – April 12-13 @ Anembo Park (hosted by Hills Softball Association) 📅 Eligibility: Players born 1 Jan 2008 – 31 Dec 2010
