Softball SA Office Update
Published Thu 28 Nov 2024
Softball SA would like to take this opportunity to share some exciting changes happening at the West Beach venue and explain the reasons behind them.
Work has begun in what is known as the office. This space is being cleared out to welcome a new commercial partner—a gym that will become a new sub-tenant at the site. This partnership will help reduce the costs for both Softball and Baseball at the venue in the future and is strongly supported by West Beach Parks.
Over the next few weeks, our office will be relocating to the old clubrooms, upstairs, where we will share office space with Baseball SA staff. The current glass boardroom will move to the ground floor of the old clubrooms. The new glass doors will fold back, ensuring the space remains available for use on weekends and during competitions.
The old clubrooms will undergo much-needed maintenance to ensure the building is secure and safe for use as office space. This includes new security door locks and a security monitoring system.
Throughout our discussions with Diamond Sports and Baseball SA, our focus has been on minimising disruption to our community, ensuring our staff have a safe and suitable working location, and bringing benefits to both sports from this new venture.
The office returning to the old clubrooms is seen as an interim measure whilst consultation, negotiations and masterplans are established for what the facility is going to look like well into the future.
To ensure a smooth transition, the Softball SA staff aim to keep our work on track and uninterrupted as possible. However, please be aware that during this time of disruption, we may not be able to respond to your enquiries and requests as promptly. We anticipate that our move will be completed before Friday 13 December.
We are committed to maintaining open lines of communication throughout this process. We will provide an update once we have relocated to our new space.
Should you have any questions, concerns, or require further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via admin@softballsa.com.au
Thank you for your continued support and involvement. We are excited about these changes and look forward to a bright future together.
